This foot is designed for straight-stitching to accurately piece 1/4" seam allowances by simply guiding fabric along the edge of the foot — the right edge of the right toe is a scant 1/4" from the needle.
The etched and painted markings in front of and behind the needle serve as accurate reference points for starting, stopping, and pivoting.
Also great for topstitching.
This quarter inch foot provides piecing stability and accuracy.
It lends the perfect guides for small projects and both conventional and miniature quilting.
